Nice overview on WordPress – It will be a great help for many of your readers who want to get into serious (and profitable) blogging.If I were just starting out I would just pay someone to have it installed and move forward instead of trying to learn it yourself, you can always come back to it later.

@kouji – Tommy has a good point that wp is really a great platform to use but there is a learning curve to it. If I were just starting out I would just pay someone to have it installed and move forward instead of trying to learn it yourself, you can always come back to it later.

@noob & @tommy – Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it, I hope it does help people take a look into wordpress as this is my platform of choice.

Always love your posts Vera. They’re really informative and well worth following.
We have just redone our whole web site and web presence using the Word Press tool and the guys who helped us seem to know a bit about it.

quite a comprehensive article. i also used to confuse the various wordpress sites. right now though, am using blogger, mostly because it’s really easy to get started. perhaps in the future, i’ll try starting a blog with wordpress.
