It’s unfortunate but I’ve let my Twitter account mostly die.. Twitter hasn’t quite taken off in South Africa yet and I guess I’ll start making a real mission of it when it becomes relevant over here

I have noticed that some blogs have held contests to get more twitter followers. For a certain period of time, they enter all new followers into a draw for some kind of prize. It is easy enough to offer a month or free advertising or something similar since that doesn’t cost you anything.

I will try to use these tips for mine and my business accounts. Twitter is a great marketing tool as you said. I have noticed a major increase in spammers, causing it lose a lot of its credibility. What is your opinion on this?

I have to say I still don´t see what´s so amazing about using twitter, I just don´t get it – why is micro blogging so popular? And as for shortening url /tinyurl etc., there are way to many sites offering it, here another one, shorter than tinyurl: http://0845.com

I can add rss feeds for individual twitter accounts, but cannot add the rss feed from my main twitter page. Every time I do, I get an error message from My Yahoo! saying there were some problems.
