Is Microsoft changing the game in computer security?

Windows OneCare Live: Coming Soon to Beta

  • Provides a comprehensive PC health service
  • Works automatically to help provide hassle-free protection and maintenance
  • Continuously evolves to help protect you from the latest threats

With a name like OneCare (vs Norton Antivirus, Anti-Spam, Internet Security, etc) doesn’t this feel more like a health insurance coverage than a security program? It certainly gives my PC a more human feel. Is that part of the plan, Mr. Gates? What’s next? A college savings plan for your PC?

I kinda like it, and it would seem to be much more appealing to women. I wonder what Michele and Yvonne think? What do other women think?

On second thought, maybe it’s not "changing the game." Maybe it’s telling a different story. I wonder what Seth thinks?
