I read this headline today:

"How to Force Apple and Yahoo to Promote Any Training You Might Produce in Less Than 2 Days And Double Your Audience Within a Week."

What the headline is referring to is the fact that you can do an audio training and release it as a podcast. And then you can get that podcast listed in the Apple iTunes podcast directory or the Yahoo podcast directory. Yes, all that is true. Will it double your audience within a week? Maybe.

I suppose this is a value judgment, but is this just good copywriting, or is it misleading? Is it more exciting that you can "force Yahoo and Apple to promote your training" than it is to do an audio training and get it listed in the iTunes and Yahoo podcast directories?

Personally, I couldn’t do it, and frankly, I have a hard time respecting anyone else who does. Self-righteous? Probably.
