Scott,

Thank you for your guidance concerning my political beliefs. I sincerely appreciate it (Seriously, no sarcasm in that statement).

I might not ultimately accept your way of thinking, but I will be open-minded enough to consider an alternate brand of thought. I believe that every individual's beliefs are valuable even if I don't choose them as my own.

And one more thing Scott... If you ever wish to return to SmallBusinessBranding.com we would love to have you back.

This is a business blog? "Presi-Dunce Bush"? Sheesh.

It's my sense that it's mostly liberal kids who buy crappy music from the labels. Don't you think that there are free market forces at work here, or is "evil Karl Rove" doing his mind control magic on them?

I'm with Brandon. Which way is the cyber-door? (BTW, I was a liberal until I reached my mid-forties. I sincerely hope you figure it out much sooner.)

Hey Brad,

My vote goes to the Australian band, george. If you haven't heard them, you need to rectify that straight away! Unique, amazing sound. And Katie Noonan's voice is to die for. I have to sing out loud with Katie. REALLY loud. (Neighbours love it I'm sure :D)

As for ipods, no thanks. Can't stand those little things in my ears, echhh. I need "surround sound"!

Luc - love your work matey.

Hello Brad,

Doing pretty well these days Brad. CommerceCubes is just a great outlet for me to showcase my experiences in business. I am not writing for money so its perfect... not fuelled by $$$

What i am getting busy with is BizCandy... my new service. I've enjoyed doing freelance work for other companies but i am ready to have a system that is all my own. Plus i am a geek that likes to experiment and this would allow me to do that and grow it in the coming years. I am listening to a lot of "Ben Lee, G. Love, Jack Johnson, Feist, Nickelback, KT Tungstall, Groove Armada and things like that.

Talk soon Brad,

Great song, Brad... When I saw the title, I thought I was going to see "Speed Reading Course", but this is good anyway. I think it really suits the bM identity.

Brandon... I sincerely wish you the best, and all of us at SmallBusinessBranding.com are always here for you if you ever wish to return.

Lucas... What's goin' on big guy? CommerceCubes.com really seems to be doing well. Keep up the good work with that! To get our conversation back on track... What songs are currently motivating you, Lucas, to push forward with bigger and badder ideas for CommerceCubes.com?

Hello Brad and SBB,

Sounds like there is a bit of a falling out lately since a comment made within this posting. Let's put the political views aside and get back to talking about why everyone is here for "To learn, share and talk about business." Other then that one comment, good posting brad.

There was a time where I HATED going to work at this one particular job - and there was a song by Papa Roach that really fired me up every morning so I could make it through the day with an ounce of sanity. The song is called "Not Listening".

To summarize the meaning of the song... It's basically about taking a stand for yourself and making things happen on your own terms, instead of everyone elses. It's worth a $1 download off of iTunes. Here's the lyrics...

"I'm not listening, not anymore
The more I learn, the more I ignore
I'm not listening, not anymore
The more I hear, the more I ignore
I'm not listening, not anymore, No

Cause You gotta be bigger, be faster, be stronger
If your gonna survive any longer
In this lifetime, it better be the right time
The first time might be your last time
Am I a failure if I got nothing to lose
No, I'm not a failure, I got something to prove

[Chorus:]
I'm not listening, not anymore
The more I learn, the more I ignore
I'm not listening, not anymore
The more I hear, the more I ignore, the more I ignore

Cause I've lost my innocence
And I'm a stranger, A life changer
I'm a man thats not afraid of danger
I walk my own path, and blaze my own trail
Because I'm not afraid to derail
I won't get in line or be a middle man
So eff you I'll make my own plan
And I got respect and I don't neglect
The people that I really care to protect
Am I a failure if I got nothing to lose
No, I'm not a failure, I got something to prove

[Chorus]

I told you before, wont listen no more
I told you before, lets settle the score
I told you before, wont listen no more
I told you before, lets settle the score

If not me then who?
If not now then when?
If not me then who?
If not now then when?

[Chorus]

I told you before, wont listen no more
I told you before, lets settle the score
I told you before, wont listen no more
I told you before, lets settle the score

Set it off right now
Blow it up, set it off
Eff it up, set it off
Blow it up, Blow it up right now"

What songs make you wanna change the world?

What artists are using their talents to influence others to greatness?

Both questions are easily answered with KRS-One.

The Songs Woke Up from his current album Life and Dream/I been There from Keep Right give me a lot momentum.

Great post! Couldn't agree more. Most people have favorite bands/groups/singers and the sound of their music is mental relaxation. Me? GreenDay and Nirvana. Can't get enough of it. I have a mix that I play over and over. When I am coding and writing papers, this mix puts me in "the zone"...Keep up the wonderful writing.
