Ed, thanks for jumping in!

Jason - that's a really good question! The only forum I can think of is Yaro's at www.blogtrafficschool.com/forums - it may not be exactly what you're looking for, but there's a section in there for Internet Business & Entrepreneurship which may interest you.

The timing of your comment is really interesting because I keep coming across this lately - people wanting marketing discussion forums (written and audio) to chat with their peers. I think we're going to see more and more of this. One other thing place you might like to try is "5000bc" at Psychotactics - www.psychotactics.com/5000bc.htm#example - this guy is great. It's not free, but it's very affordable and it's a forum specifically for marketing.

Let me know how you go!

Jason,

A nice spot is marketingprofs.com. The forum section allows you to ask questions on topics and get expert advice back. It's pretty interesting.

One thing I wish most blogs I visit had was an open question area. Because of the audience at a particular location I often times have a question I'd like to ask everyone. But I am only allowed to comment on someone elses post.
So when I have to nudge in and ask my question I feel ackward as I am aware that I am taking the discussion off topic and that isn't the intention of commenting.

Have fun at marketing profs.

...I'm really interested in finding some community forums where other marketers / advertisers of small companies chat about ideas, concepts, out of the box strategies that work - any recommendations? I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you have (email me, if you can!)

thanks!
